Acte de naissance formats

• Copie intégrale includes all details and marginal notes (mentions marginales).
• Extrait avec filiation shows parentage but usually without marginal notes.
• Extrait sans filiation excludes parents' details.
• Extrait plurilingue is multilingual, but UKVI still typically expects a certified translation.

Livret de famille

The family record book is often essential for family visa applications. Pages with entries must be translated, and blank pages can be noted as blank page in the translation.

French names and spelling
